The core of Curetis' solutions is a universal, easy-to-use platform that can detect all clinically relevant measurement parameters required to make an informed therapy decision. Patient samples (e.g. a blood sample) are placed into disease-specific disposable cartridges containing all necessary reagents. In a second step, cartridges are inserted into an analyzer module that performs all necessary sample processing steps completely automatically. Multiparameter testing

Multiparameter testing of many markers from a single sample in one run avoids time consuming sequential hypothesis based measurements. All relevant markers for a given disease are combined into a single panel. Fully integrated and automated solution

Curetis will offer a single, versatile hardware platform for the complete analysis of various disease marker panels. Executing the analysis requires no manual steps in between - all test steps are performed in a disposable cartridge inside the instrument. Only a few manual pre-analytical steps are necessary to perform a test.

Independent of the actual application, a simple and consistent work flow permits full walk-away automation with consistent high quality results by eliminating operator induced variations. An integral information management system minimizes the effort to manually handle information.

The solution calls only for low training requirements, hence no staff with special molecular biology skills will be necessary. The Curetis platform is built from highly integrated analysis modules which can be combined in many different configurations to address individual customer needs.
