Ares Genetics (www.ares-genetics.com), is dedicated to improving the diagnosis of microbial infections as well as accelerating antibiotic drug development by leveraging its proprietary collection of pathogen genomes and antibiotic resistance profiles with sophisticated data analysis workflows and interpretation applications. The company builds on GEAR (GEnetic Antibiotic Resistance and Susceptibility Database): the most comprehensive and ever growing collection of pathogen genomes and antibiotic resistance profiles, which was originally developed and compiled by the Ares Genetics management team at Siemens.

What we expect from you...
In your role as PhD Student Microbial Bioinformatics, you will design, create and enhance novel approaches and algorithms for the analysis and prediction of genetic antibiotic resistance and susceptibility tests. You will work closely with leading academic partners to develop these advanced bioinformatics approaches for antibiotic resistance prediction from next-generation sequencing data, analyze microbial genomics data and publish your scientific research findings.

What you bring with you…

  • MSc. in Bioinformatics, IT or other related disciplines

Head of Marketing (m/f)

This is a permanent and full-time position at our Headquarters in Holzgerlingen in Germany. The Head of Marketing will report to the Director of Commercial Operations EMEA.

Your Responsibilities...

The successful candidate will lead and be responsible for the Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) marketing activities, including market analysis, strategic and tactical marketing plans to ensure early adoption and growth of the company’s commercialized and in-development products.

You will have strong experience in marketing In-Vitro Diagnostic product launch, product life cycle management and innovative brand strategy using the right marketing mix.

Leading a team of Marketing Support Managers, you will be accountable for the development and implementation of the marketing plan and budget with regular communication with the Senior Leadership Team.

The role will involve supporting the sales team through adequate development of sales tools, promotional materials, training program and marketing campaigns to deliver the company revenue goal.

You will engage with key clinicians, academics and commissioners to gather continuous intelligence on product performance, competitor activities and customer needs to ensure the brand positioning is adequate in a fast changing market.

You will develop, implement and continuously improve effective and compliant marketing processes to ensure fast and efficient marketing operations.

You will lead effective cross-functional collaboration and enforce compliance of all marketing operations to Curetis Code of Conduct and all applicable laws and regulations

Your Qualification & Experience…

  • Life Science degree with focus on clinical microbiology; PhD or Marketing Qualification
  • A minimum of 5 year experience in Marketing IVD Products
  • Experience of Key Opinion Leader development ideally within the European Market
  • Experience of working with global team and Scientific Affairs internationally a plus
  • Excellent conceptual, strategic and analytical skills with the ability to design implement robust marketing plan and forecast ROI
  • Good project management skills with the ability of prioritize and multi task

Vos missions
En tant que Clinical Application Specialist  rattaché à votre zone géographique, vous renforcez notre service clientèle et d'assistance, ainsi que notre équipe de distribution, êtes responsable du soutien au service distribution pour les questions techniques et relatives aux applications, et dispensez des conseils et des formations à nos hôpitaux clients en matière de systèmes et d'applications.

Vos qualités et compétences

Your Responsibilities...

In your role as a Market Development Manager, you will consistently expand the customer base for the innovative Unyvero product line by winning new customers in your sales territory.

Your many years of practical experience in selling instruments and reagents for laboratory diagnostics, or comparable medtech or pharmaceutical products, will allow you to convince laboratory physicians, microbiologists, clinicians and hospital management of the medical and health economic benefits of the Unyvero System at a high level.

In the process, you will develop and implement regional sales strategies together with the sales management. Your Qualification & Experience…
»    An education in life sciences or medicine
»    At least five years of sales experience in the areas of laboratory diagnostics, med-tech or pharmaceuticals, preferably with experience in the areas of microbiology and/or molecular diagnostics
