Andreas Boos - Director R&D | Managing Director

With over 20 years of professional experience at Hewlett Packard and other major medical device companies, Andreas Boos has a proven track record in the development and implementation of solutions in the areas of molecular and point-of-care diagnostics as well as patient monitoring in an international setting. An electrical engineer by training, Mr. Boos has successfully applied project and program management skills to lead the development activities for several innovative and commercially very successful medical products for the worldwide market. Next to an intimate understanding of the customer's voice, he also brings a thorough knowledge of applicable quality systems, standards and regulatory approval processes to Curetis.

Johannes Bacher - Director Operations | Managing Director

Holding a degree in electrical engineering, Johannes Bacher has worked for several international medical device companies like Hewlett Packard and Philips Medical Systems. He combines over 10 years of R&D and management experience with a strong background in international project management, team management, project financials, setting up organizational structures and customer feedback methodologies. This makes him a strong contributor to implement and manage Curetis' operations.

Dr. Gerd Lüdke - Director Assay Development

Dr. Lüdke has more than 15 years of experience in assay development for research, analytical and diagnostic systems and is experienced in the management of international multi-site projects. He was responsible for molecular diagnostic assay design and the development of clinical tests at Philips Medical Systems and has worked as project manager for microfluidic systems at Agilent Technologies prior to joining Curetis. Dr. Lüdke holds a doctoral degree in Cancer Biology (University Hospital in Zurich, Switzerland) and a diploma degree in Technical Biology (University of Stuttgart, Germany).

Dr. Anne Thews - Director Marketing & Sales

Before joining Curetis, Dr. Thews was Marketing Manager at Philips Medical Systems and has held leading marketing and sales support positions at Beckman Coulter. She has achieved an impressive track record during the past 12 years both in strategic and tactical marketing and is well recognized within the relevant professional and academia networks. Her combined professional experience as a marketing specialist with international responsibilities, as a trained medical doctor (Internal Medicine) and as manager in charge of a clinical diagnostics laboratory for many years (University Hospital Mainz, Germany) make her a valuable asset to Curetis.

Anne Burger - Director Finance (CFO)

Anne Burger is a Director at MedVenture Partners, a Munich based corporate finance and strategic advisory company focusing on the life sciences and health care industry. At MedVenture Partners, Anne Burger has been responsible for numerous projects in the field of private placements, financial modeling and M&A. She has worked for companies across many segments in biotech, pharma services (CRO), medical devices, medical telemonitoring, hospital service providers and health care IT. She holds a graduate degree in business administration (Ludwig-Maximilian-Universität Munich, Honors) and did graduate studies in public health. Mrs. Burger is a regular lecturer at the Odeon Center for Entrepreneurship of the Ludwig-Maximilian-Universität Munich.
