Curetis AG focuses on multiparameter testing of many analytes in a single run, providing broad panels of combined pathogen and resistance gene detection for a wide range of diseases.

Curetis integrates today´s molecular diagnostics laboratory into one instrument for the detection of severe bacterial infections as a first target application. However, the universal platform will also allow the future expansion into other clinical applications with additional market opportunities beyond infectious diseases.

The team's track record covers the entire cycle from the identification of clinically relevant parameters, product specification and product design to manufacturing and commercialization.

Working in close cooperation with commercial, clinical and academic partners, a cross-functional team of technical biologists, physicians and engineers is driving the advancement of sample processing methods, the development of sensitive and robust analyte detection and the optimization of the multiparameter analysis process.

Development efforts are focused towards achieving robust performance and standardizing such diagnostic tests. Combined with its in-house class S2 bio laboratory and machine shop facilities, this broad expertise in medical device development puts Curetis in the position to integrate all analytical steps into an easy-to use solution, optimized for footprint, cost and reliability.
